The concrete pour to construct the Odyssey Mine’s headframe, which was completed in October, is a major step. We would like to acknowledge the enormous amount of work done on this project by skilled tradespeople.
Watch the 93-metre-high headframe concrete pour that took less than 2 minutes and that required 4,000 m3 of concrete delivered by more than 570 concrete trucks and the insertion of slightly more than 2 million iron rods. This incredible teamwork went on day and night and took less than a month.
